Through the Eyes of a Family

Have you taken time recently to step back and look at your program through the eyes of the families you serve?

Does it first appear safe, clean, and inviting? Do educators greet families upon arrival and stay interested and engaged with the children? Are there age-appropriate materials accessible to children, as well as a balanced schedule to meet children’s needs?

Use this Checklist to both help evaluate your own practices and space, as well as educate family’s on what to expect from your program. There are even some great tips for families on ways to help support their child’s educators and contribute towards a positive experience for their child!
