Increase Your Professionalism Through a CDA

Emilia Hernandez is a lead teacher at Young Professors Preschool and Early Learning Center in Cass County who recently earned her Preschool CDA through the CDA Scholarship Project.

"I wanted more knowledge about my career and to step up in early childhood. I wanted to have some type of certification in this field. Going through the completion of my CDA was great. Completing the course remotely was so convenient and helped me learn the content in my own time which made it a joyful experience. Taking the classes did take time but I gained so much new knowledge. I learned a lot about health and safety, which are very important in the classroom. I also learned so much about the developing brain in young children which helped me implement the best curriculum and activities for my classroom. I increased my worth as a professional. I am very happy I decided to earn my CDA credential."

You too can earn your national CDA credential at almost no cost. To learn more, visit advanceyourchildcareareer.org.
