Promoting Family Involvement

We know that family involvement is a crucial part of quality early childhood education. Families are a child’s first teacher and play a big role in their child’s comfort and engagement in the early childhood setting. Make sure prospective families know how they can stay involved in their child's education if they choose your program for their child. These options might be:

• Offering family volunteer opportunities,
• Holding family events,
• Using a communication app,
• Hosting family-teacher conferences,
• Preparing daily communication sheets,
• Or publishing a program newsletter.
