Child care providers need to be heard—and this is an important opportunity to make your voice count.
Missouri’s Child Care Market Rate Survey is open September 21 through November 6, 2026. Conducted every three years, this federally required survey gathers information about child care rates, enrollment, staffing, wages, revenue, and expenses across the state.
Your program’s rates and costs are unique, and they can vary based on location, program type, size, staffing needs, and the ages of children served. When providers participate, their experiences and costs are represented in the data used to inform child care subsidy rates and policies.
Individual program information will not be identified in the public report. Results will be combined and reported by county and statewide.
The survey takes approximately 20–40 minutes to complete. Programs that complete all sections will also be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card.
