All families – and especially families with young children – need a strong support system. We know that our early childhood and child care educators are an important part of that support system. They are often the first ones to hear about or recognize a struggle within the child or family and are also often the family’s connection to other resources.
There are so many supports offered throughout our state to help meet children and family’s needs, including resources for parenting support, developmental concerns, health care, and more. Make sure you’re familiar with these available resources to help families THRIVE! Post this handy flyer in your program, keep it in your own toolbox of resources, or share it with families to make sure each child in your care is getting their needs met and is able to live up to their highest potential.
