Healthy Changes, Big Impact
Seventeen Missouri child care programs are celebrating more than 50 meaningful increases in nutrition and physical activity best practices through Go NAPSACC.
Child Care Aware of Missouri is excited to announce that 17 child care centers in 13 counties across the state have accomplished more than 50 goals through the Go Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment Child Care (NAPSACC) project.
Participating programs assessed their current practices and compared them with best practices for supporting nutrition and physical activity among infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Working one-on-one with a Technical Assistance Specialist, each program took meaningful steps to create healthier environments for the children and families they serve.
