When families have questions about child care subsidy, you do not have to navigate the process alone. The Missouri Childhood Resource and Referral (MCRR) program, administered by Child Care Aware® of Missouri, provides free statewide support and serves as a trusted resource for both families and child care providers.
You can refer families to MCRR for help with initial subsidy applications, renewals, and general eligibility questions. Our team stays up to date on the latest guidance from DESE, so families receive current, accurate information. This gives you confidence that when you recommend MCRR as a support, families are connected to reliable assistance aligned with the most current DESE updates.
Connecting families to MCRR also saves you time. Instead of walking through applications step by step, you can direct them to trained specialists who guide the process and help ensure forms are completed correctly the first time.
MCRR also connects families to additional community resources, including diapers, food assistance, utility support, and mental health services.
