What Is the Missouri Childhood Resource and Referral Center?

Child Care Aware® of Missouri will be providing services for a statewide contract called Missouri Childhood Resource and Referral (MCRR). The purpose of the MCRR Center is to serve families in need of subsidy and child care and to assist families and child care providers in need of community resources.

The MCRR Center and its partners will:

• Help families complete the online subsidy application through the Child Care Data System.
• Provide regional in-person assistance to families with completing their subsidy applications.
•  Assist families with finding contracted subsidy child care programs.
• Guide families and child care providers with locating community resources via the Missouri Family Resources site.

The MCRR Center and its partners are not responsible for:

• Determining subsidy eligibility for families or child care providers.
• Issuing or answering questions regarding subsidy payments.

Beginning April 2025, phone calls and emails for child care subsidy-contracted providers will be referred directly to the Office of Childhood. Providers can contact 573-526-3011 or CCSubsidyAgreements@dese.mo.gov for questions about subsidy provider applications or contracts. Providers can contact 573-522-1385 or CCPayments@dese.mo.gov for questions about subsidy provider payments.
