MCRR Call Center Extends Hours to Better Serve Families

The Missouri Childhood Resource and Referral  (MCRR) center’s hours of operation is adjusting its schedule to better meet the needs of families. Beginning September 29, 2025, the center will open earlier each weekday and continue providing support in the evenings.

The new hours will be as follows:

Monday through Friday: 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to noon

MCRR can help families with the following:

• Completing child care subsidy applications
• Navigating the parent portal for child care subsidy
• Finding child care (child care referrals)
• Connecting with community resources, including food banks, rent, housing, utilities, transportation, diapers, and more.

To reduce wait times, families are encouraged to call after 4 p.m. on weekdays or during Saturday morning hours when wait times are typically shorter.
