Growing a successful child care business requires more than providing quality care. It
also requires the right tools, resources, and support. Missouri Childhood Resource and
Referral (MCRR) service provides free services that help child care providers increase
visibility, connect with families, and strengthen their businesses.

1. Increase Your Program’s Visibility
Families cannot choose your program if they cannot find it. One of the key tools
available through MCRR is the TOOTRiS platform. Child Care Aware of Missouri
manages Missouri’s statewide child care provider database, which is powered by
TOOTRiS. Claiming and maintaining a complete, accurate provider profile helps
families find your program, increases your program’s visibility, and supports statewide
initiatives such as Child Care Works.

2. Connect Families with Valuable Resources
MCRR helps families navigate the child care subsidy application process and access
community resources. Referring families to MCRR connects them with free support to 
identify resources and services that meet their needs. Child care subsidy
navigation and community resource navigation strengthen the
families you serve while allowing you to focus on providing quality care.

3. Access Free Business Resources
MCRR connects child care business owners and directors with practical tools, business
resources, and guidance that support long-term success. Whether you are opening a
new program, expanding your capacity, or strengthening your operations, MCRR
provides information and resources that help your business grow.

If you have not claimed or completed your provider profile, click on the TOOTRis Quick Start
Guide below for step-by-step instructions. Eligible providers receive a $50 gift card after
reaching Enrollment Ready status.
