When families have questions about child care subsidy, you do not have to navigate the process alone. The Missouri Childhood Resource and Referral (MCRR) service is available statewide, at no cost, to support both child care providers and families.
You can refer families to this service for help with initial subsidy applications, renewals, and general eligibility questions. The MCRR team stays current with the latest guidance from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), ensuring families receive accurate, up-to-date information. This means you can feel confident that when you recommend MCRR, families are connected to trusted assistance aligned with DESE’s most recent updates.
Referring families to MCRR also saves you valuable time. Instead of walking through detailed subsidy steps on your own, you can direct families to trained specialists who guide them through the process and help ensure forms are completed correctly the first time.
In addition to subsidy support, MCRR connects families to community resources such as diapers, food assistance, utility help, and mental health services.
To reach MCRR, call (573) 415-8605.
