Social and Emotional Training and Technical Assistance

We had a great start to Cohort 4-Group A and we were so excited to be able to do a second group! There are only a few spots left for Group B. If you are an educator from a family child care program or work in a licensed or licensed-exempt child care center in Cass, Jackson, Platte, or Clay counties do not miss out on this opportunity to participate in our final Emotional Foundations for Early Childhood-Plus (EFFEC+) collaborative.

Early childhood educators from the Kansas City region have found the training and individual technical assistance to be beneficial to their classroom and their teaching practices. Miss Alisha remarked that she had discovered new strategies of how to support children with being a good friend and nice touches. She also learned about the importance of self-care understanding her attitude sets the tone of the classroom.
