Join NAPSACC!
We are excited that we have 20 child care centers and family child care programs currently participating in the NAPSACC project.
Participating programs are finding ideas and support to increase children’s physical activity and nutrition through individualized technical assistance and the excellent resources made available to you on the NAPSACC website and Show Me Child Care Resources.
What exactly is Go NAPSACC?
- NAPSACC (Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment Child Care) is an online self-assessment tool created by the University of North Carolina.
- The purpose of the project is to increase children’s physical activity and nutrition.
- It looks at best practices for nutrition and physical activity for infants, toddler and preschoolers.
- The NAPSACC has seven sections. But as part of the project, we are asking you to complete only one area.
- Once you have achieved two of your goals, you will receive a $75 gift card from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to celebrate your achievement.
