LAST CHANCE! We are recruiting educators from family child care programs and licensed or licensed-exempt child care centers in Cass, Jackson, Platte, or Clay counties to participate in our final Emotional Foundations for Early Childhood-Plus (EFFEC+) collaborative.

You will have the opportunity to learn strategies to help calm children and become more resilient. You will be equipped with tools to develop stronger social and emotional skills in the children within your classroom. You will be provided with resources for self-care.

Early childhood educators from the Kansas City region have found the training and individual technical assistance to be beneficial to their classroom and their teaching practices. Miss Doneisha said, “I had a great experience with this project. I loved all the resources we received. The children have a lot of fun with them. They are more engaged in the classroom! It really helped doing this training! I learn so much.”
