Creating Healthier Environments for Missouri's Children

We are excited to have 15 centers and four family child care early childhood programs from 14 counties across the state in the Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment Child Care (NAPSACC) project. Child Care Aware® of Missouri continues to partner with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to support child care programs with strategies and tools to increase children’s physical activity and nutrition.

These programs are comparing their current practices to best practices for nutrition and physical activity for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. They are working one-on-one with a Technical Assistance Specialist to create a healthier environment for the children and families within the program.
