Change in State Funding

Child Care Aware® of Missouri (CCAMO) has held the contract for state-funded Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) services for 23 years. We are incredibly proud of our stewardship of this state-funded contract and the foundation CCAMO has laid through resource and referral work and our partnerships with families, child care educators, and communities across Missouri who serve and impact children in their first two-thousand days.

While this is a significant change, it does not affect who CCAMO is as an organization. We are a fiscally responsible, customer-centric organization driven by our values and beliefs.

We will continue to listen to our customers and deliver on our mission to raise the quality of early childhood educational experiences in Missouri. CCAMO is and will always be committed to identifying strategies for building an equitable, accessible, and high-quality child care system that supports families and the child care workforce.

CCAMO and its capacity building partners will deliver CCR&R state-funded services through June 30, 2023. We are committed to sharing updates as we take this opportunity to be innovative and even more responsive to the evolving needs of those we serve.
