Missouri Professional Development System is Live!
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Office of Childhood is excited to announce the launch of the new Missouri Professional Development (MOPD) system! This is where you can find and register for clock-hour trainings, access reports, and much more. The MOPD system replaces the OPEN Initiative Toolbox and the Missouri Workshop Calendar.
You can log in to the new system on the MOPD webpage at: earlyconnections.mo.gov/MOPD. Click on Instructions to access videos and instructions to help guide you through setting up an account and using the new system.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Your MOPD ID will remain the same if you already had an ID prior to the new system. You can apply for a MOPD ID if you need one.
- Each user (e.g. director, staff member) must log in to create an account and confirm their information. Users cannot log in for other staff.
- Data from previous trainings and employment records were merged into the new MOPD system. You can confirm this by checking your profile information and verifying your training hours.
- Once you log in, you will have access to your training report. Directors/owners will see reports for staff members. There may be a delay in seeing some records on your profile if you submitted documents for review or took trainings during the old systems' shutdown or transition period (end of April 2023 through early June 2023).
- Learning Management System (LMS) will be launched at a later date. The LMS will have more than 20 online on-demand trainings shared for low to no cost with credit given immediately after successful completion.
