Is your CDA® Expired? The CDA® Renewal Amnesty Program can help.

Celebrate 50 Years of the CDA® with the Renewal Amnesty Program!

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Child Development Associate® (CDA) Credential, the Council is excited to offer a limited-time CDA® Renewal Amnesty Program.

This special opportunity allows individuals whose CDA® credential expired as far back as January 1, 2020, to renew and reactivate their credential—no matter how long it has been expired.

Contact the TEACH Missouri CDA Scholarship Program for assistance with your CDA renewal process. Ensure you give yourself time to prepare before the CDA Council deadline. All applications must be submitted to the CDA Council for Professional Recognition online by July 31, 2025 (11:59 PM EST). No exceptions or extensions will be granted.

Who is Eligible?
  • Anyone with a CDA® expiration date on or after January 1, 2020
  • Must meet all current renewal requirements

Time is ticking to take advantage of this opportunity. Contact TEACH Missouri to learn more about scholarship opportunities to pay for your renewal. https://mochildcareaware.org/.
