Early education is a demanding profession, and while we may not be able to pay our staff what their dedication truly deserves, offering access to higher education through TEACH Missouri helps bridge that gap.

We encourage all employees to participate, and as more have applied for the scholarships, more have enrolled in college or training programs. As a result, staff turnover has steadily declined. Today we have more long-term teachers than ever, many of whom credit their loyalty to the educational opportunities offered through our child care program–benefits we could never provide on our own. 

Our teachers regularly bring fresh ideas from their coursework straight into the classroom, enriching our curriculum and strengthening our center. As their skills grow, so does their confidence—many have advanced into leadership roles they never imagined for themselves. The scholarship program not only elevates our staff but also strengthens our community.

The scholarship counseling staff makes the process easy and provides invaluable guidance every step of the way.  Without this program, we would not provide the same level of care to our children and families. In a community that deeply needs quality child care, maintaining the TEACH Missouri scholarship program is essential to meeting that need.
