Do you work as an early childhood home visitor? Do you know someone who does?  If so, we have a great new educational opportunity for you. T.E.A.C.H. MISSOURI now has a Home Visitor CDA Scholarship. This scholarship helps you earn your national Child Development Associate® (CDA) credential at NO cost. The CDA credential is often a first formal step in education and a great professional development opportunity. You can earn your credential through training hours or college credits. To be eligible for the Home Visitor CDA, you must:

  • Work in a home visiting program in Missouri using a nationally recognized home visiting model.
  • Have a caseload of at least 4 active families.
  • Be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or high school equivalent.
  • Work at least 15 hours (if using training) or 25 hours (if using college credits) per week as a home visitor.
  • Have worked for at least one (1) month at the same employer as a home visitor.
