Being a lone ranger parent educator, it feels like a lot of what I do goes unseen but having this credential helps me remember my professional importance. Earning my CDA has helped me localize resources families may need help finding. It’s helped me share more about safe sleep practices and the importance of knowing CPR for infants and young children. I also learned to ask more in-depth questions to learn more about my families. My PD Specialist had nothing but good things to say about my visit and portfolio. It was nice to have someone come into my world with me and see the impact we're making with families. My family was very proud of me too for finishing it and earning the credential. It was a good example for my kids to see that even when life is hard, we can still push through and meet our goals.” Find out how you too can earn your CDA at [https://mochildcareaware.org/cda-scholarship-project-home/](https://mochildcareaware.org/cda-scholarship-project-home/).  --- Explore our other Child Care Aware® of Missouri resources: [FREE Clock Hour Training](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/free-clock-hour-training) [Scholarships for Educators](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/scholarships-for-educators) [Child Care Health and Wellness](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/child-care-nutrition-and-physical-activity) [Family Child Care Network](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/family-child-care-network) [Leadership Development Opportunities](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/leadership-development-opportunities) [Missouri Office of Childhood Updates](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/missouri-office-of-childhood-updates) [Show Me Child Care Resources](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/show-me-child-care-resources) [Support Child Care Aware® of Missouri](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/support-child-care-aware) [Community Data](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/community-data) [Join Our Team](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/join-our-team) [Resources to Build Your Business ](https://partnerpublication.mochildcareaware.org/partner-publication/tag/resources-to-build-your-business)     #### About - Menu Item One - Menu Item Two - Menu Item Three #### Services - Menu Item One - Menu Item Two - Menu Item Three #### News - Menu Item One - Menu Item Two - Menu Item Three Follow us on Facebook Follow us on LinkedIn Follow us on Twitter Follow us on Instagram
