The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) announced adjustments to the annual child care subsidy income eligibility limits.
The changes will take effect of October 15, 2022 and can be viewed below. The income limits for families are updated on an annual basis with changes in the Federal Poverty Level. House Bill 3002 added a third level of transitional child care eligibility. This change increases the maximum income threshold for families up to 242% of the Federal Poverty Level.
