We are recruiting educators from family child care programs and licensed or licensed-exempt child care centers in Cass, Jackson, Platte, or Clay counties to participate in our final Emotional Foundations for Early Childhood-Plus (EFFEC+) collaborative.

Early childhood educators from the Kansas City region have found the training and individual technical assistance to be beneficial to their classroom and their teaching practices. Miss Alisha remarked that she had discovered new strategies of how to support children with being a good friend and nice touches. She also learned about the importance of self care understanding her attitude sets the tone of the classroom.
