Grant Deadline Feb 10th; TA Assistance Offered

The deadline for the Non-Traditional Care Grant is this Thursday, February 10th.

Fret not! Child Care Aware® of Missouri is providing Technical Assistance (TA) to help providers apply for this grant and various others on February 9th via Zoom from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

Child care providers who can take advantage of the Non-Traditional Care Grant are those who provide care between 7:01 pm and 5:59 am; this grant allows for reimbursement to child care providers who cared for children during non-traditional hours between September 1, 2021 and September 30, 2021. Providers eligible to apply include licensed child care providers, registered six or fewer providers, license-exempt providers, and school districts.

Grants to be covered:

• Non-Traditional Care grant
• The Start-up/Expansion/Enhancement grant
• Technical/Business Assistance grant

The following dates are available to register for:

February

• Wednesday, February 9 (6:00 pm to 8:30 pm)
• Thursday, February 24 (6:00 pm to 8:30 pm)

March

• Tuesday, March 1 (10:00 am to 12:30 pm)
• Wednesday, March 9 (6:00 pm to 8:30 pm)
• Saturday, March 26 (9:00 am - 11:30 am)

NOTICE:

Child Care Aware® of Missouri does not administer the grants. Thus, if you have already applied, we do not have access to or the status of your application as our organization does not decide these matters. DESE Office of Childhood administers and awards the grants.
