Every decision a parent makes influences a child’s path—and one of the most important is selecting their early care environment. When children are in safe, nurturing settings, they build confidence, curiosity, and emotional security. When care is inconsistent or stressful, it places a burden on both children and parents.

At Child Care Aware® of Missouri, we believe that supporting parents is central to healthy child development. Our role goes beyond connecting families with child care programs. We aim to empower parents with knowledge, resources, and confidence they need to make choices that will benefit their children for years to come.

Knowledge is power. When parents understand what to look for in quality child care, know the options available, and feel prepared to advocate for their child, decisions feel less overwhelming and more intentional. Our tools and guidance are here to support you every step of the way.

If you’re preparing to choose or change child care for your child, know this: you don’t have to do it alone. We’re here to help you navigate the search with clarity, comfort, and support.
