Join the Crunch!

Don’t you love the sound of biting into a fresh, crunchy apple? To celebrate National Farm to School month, the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services is sponsoring the Missouri Crunch Off.

There is very little planning on your part that will be a lot of fun for the children and families in your program. Your onsite event can be anytime during October. It can be as simple as serving apples or other crunchy fruits or vegetables at lunch or snack to planning a taste test of crunchy apples at pick-up. Curious to know more?
