Our NAPSACC project is up and running! The 20 participating child care programs are working on their goals and action plans. Participating programs are finding ideas and support to increase children’s physical activity and nutrition through individualized technical assistance. They are using the excellent resources made available to them on the NAPSACC website and Show Me Child Care Resources.  

 

Changes are happening! Children are increasing their health and wellness!

*What exactly is Go NAPSACC?*

- NAPSACC (Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment Child Care) is an online self-assessment tool created by the University of North Carolina.
- The purpose of the project is to increase children’s physical activity and nutrition.   
  It looks at best practices for nutrition and physical activity for infants, toddler and preschoolers.
- The NAPSACC has seven sections. But as part of the project, we are asking you to complete only one area.
- Once you have achieved two of your goals, you will receive a $75 gift card from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to celebrate your achievement.
