Seeking Regional Partner Agencies

Beginning May 1, Child Care Aware of Missouri (CCAMO) will start providing services for the statewide Missouri Childhood Resource and Referral (MCRR) Center contract. To better serve those in need, we are seeking regional community partner agencies through a Request for Proposal (RFP) process to help provide hands-on support and resource navigation services to families and child care providers.

We will be seeking community partner agencies from the following counties (one partner agency per county will be selected): Adair, Boone, Butler, Greene, Jackson, Phelps, and St. Louis.

The MCRR Center and its regional community partners will:

• Deliver high-quality customer service to families and others so they experience prompt, courteous, and helpful assistance.
• Help families know where to find the online application for child care subsidy assistance and how to complete the subsidy application.
• Provide regional outreach across Missouri to better assist families face-to-face in completing their subsidy application.
• Refer child care providers to the DESE for the support they need.
• Guide families with finding child care in their requested zip code(s), help families find openings at child care programs, and upon request, provide families quality indicator information on child care programs.
• Help families, child care providers, and others locate community resources via the Missouri Family Resources site.

The MCRR Center and its regional partners are not responsible for:

• Processing family applications for subsidy or child care provider subsidy applications and contracts.
• Determining subsidy eligibility.
• Issuing or confirming subsidy payments and resolutions.
• Reconciling incorrect subsidy payments, overpayments, or underpayments.
