Missouri Child Care Works Is Here: A New Way to Support Working Families
Missouri Child Care Works (CCW) is officially here—and Child Care Aware® of Missouri is proud to help launch this groundbreaking statewide initiative designed to make child care more affordable and sustainable for Missouri families.
CCW uses a cost-sharing approach that brings employers, employees, and public or community partners together to share the cost of child care. Through these combined contributions, eligible families can reduce their child care expenses by up to 75 percent—helping parents remain in the workforce while their children receive consistent, high-quality care.
This innovative model also benefits child care providers by expanding access to paying families and creating more stable, predictable tuition revenue. Together, these efforts strengthen Missouri's child care system and support the foundation that working families and employers depend on every day.
